Blacks, Whites & Greys – The Monochrome Trend

2020 has completed its halfway mark and we still find ourselves in the middle of a pandemic with our lifestyles and routines all gone for a toss .

And the new normal is us trying to bring a balance in our homes making it both a family and workspace.

And its natural you feel bored with your home seeming both mundane and uninspiring?

Do you want to spruce your home up yet play it safe?

Do you find yourself confused with various options out there on the table and kitchen linen world and fear things might go wrong?

Then the best way would be to go the classic way!!

The monochromatic trend of black whites and greys is the biggest and the most classic ways of home décor of all times and seasons.

This color combination is a classic for a reason. Not only does it work with a variety of patterns, but it goes with almost every interior design style.

Whether you are looking to add a touch of elegance, something bold, or you are leaning more toward a modern approach, these color patterns can help you make a statement.

Using the color black adds a focal point of color that grounds, anchors, and adds a sophisticated look to a room.

If you’re looking for a trendy way to make a statement, go with a bold black-and-white pattern for a guaranteed hit.

Create Contrast with White, creams and greys. Contrary to popular belief, a bold black accent brings a modern level of sophistication and adds depth to a room, while supplementing it with white, gray, or cream brings the right amount of contrast.

If you’re a fan of simple patterns, getting them in black and white will give them a elegant twist. Whether you decorate with a throw blanket, pillows, or curtains, using black-and-white patterns is an effective way to add these bolder neutrals without overwhelming the rest of your decor.

But the best way to take advantage of the combination of these two simple colors to maximize your decorating statement is to add that hint of bling into it.

Contemporary interiors often combine black and white with sleek metals.

Whether you are in the mood to change your current home decor or just give it a bit of more life, depending on how you go about it, you can have your home make a number of different statements with this combo. It can serve as simple conversation-starters, or add a calming element to a room. There are some that simply showoff your inner chic style.

Black and white colors complement one another so well that you have a near endless supply of ideas to utilize.

So therefore have fun bringing life into your mundane activities and wishing you good health and safety in these testing times from TEAM AAURAA.

For decades now PANTONE has influenced the choice of the retailers, exporters, designers and creators of various fields be it fashion, home or industrial.

And this year it has named “CLASSIC BLUE “to be its color of the year.

This is a color that is known for its versatility. This color could be used as a statement color but also to create a cozy atmosphere. It influences everything from apparels to upholstery to furniture and home decors. It pairs well with exquisite patterns and tones like lemony yellow, hot pink or metallic such as copper, gold or silver. Classic blue mixed with monochromatic textures and tones work wonders.

When incorporating a color to our homes, the first thing that comes to our minds is to change the paints of the walls. But it could be time consuming and messy.

An easier and elegant way to bring in that color is to accessorize the living rooms by throwing some some pillows and cushions along with some sofa throws. Use pale and delicate blues paired with light colored furniture, subtle drapery and statement accessories to create a soft elegant room. Do mix it with bold, bright colors (think hot pink and orange) and patterns to create an energetic atmosphere.

For someone who loves the feel of a classic bedroom, this color is sure a timeless and classy tone.

It gives the room a sense of calmness and coziness. Even a boho or retreat-style bedroom can use a touch of this color by layering it with soft floral that is sure to add a relaxing vibe to the space.

For the kitchen, bring in the color with kitchen and table linen. From soft pastel serenity blue and pale blue to cobalt or navy are amazing for coastal, rustic, shabby chic and vintage kitchens.

Any shades of blue can stand out even more with a touch of metallic and this way it’ll look more glam and chic.

The unique feature of this color is that whether you use too much or too little, the effect is unmissable. And if you make this the overarching theme of a room, there is no fear of going overboard.

In today’s times, we live in a world where the nature has started talking to us in various ways like a global pandemic, Amazon forest fires, the Australian forest fires and many more. It is high time we start to give more importance to sustainability, eco friendliness and nature conservation.

And one of the first steps to do is to make our homes greener and nature friendly.

The essential concept behind any urban jungle is to mimic nature in its extraordinary diversity of species, sizes, forms and colors into our homes. This is a trend that started slowly and consistently over time. The urban jungle look is a distinctive trend that can be beautifully combined with all sorts of different interior styles be it Nordic, modern and cool, chic and elegant or be it any season of the year.

If the urban jungle trend is your way of life, you’ll also make sure that all your furnishings are made of natural, sustainable materials. And some of the ways to incorporate it is through color, pattern and textures.

The first and the most important aspect is to get the colors right. Recreate the palettes found in tropical foliage with neutral ivory, beige, khaki, mocha and brown, as well as shades of green. You can also incorporate muted tones of olive and sage, or opt for greens that are saturated and vibrant.

Next Spice it up with bold prints and patterns. Look for prints that are not overwhelming and will keep the space relaxing as they add visual interest. Get the jungle, exotic look with the use of birds and fruit prints.

Color isn’t the only way to make an impact. Texture may not be as obvious, but the impact can be just as dramatic. In giving the sustainable look. This is the as pect that greatly brings in the raw, rustic quality of eco friendliness and nature.  Make conscious choices about how and where you add texture. Textures can also be created by layering different prints and patterns with solids and woven’s. One of the advantages in an urban jungle is the ample opportunity provided to play with textures.

In conclusion, there are many ways to design and maintain an inviting urban jungle home. It is the habitat of someone whose home is everywhere and who has the world inside their home. It is a conscious effort taken in living a more sustainable, eco friendly and nature loving life.

Reduce, Reuse, Recycle– A Conscious Practice

Reduce, Reuse, Recycle– A Conscious Practice

We live in a conscious society where conservation and environmental issues have taken the forefront rather than one’s individual success. Embracing sustainability is the best way to maintain this culture. This is when the phrase “Reduce, Reuse and Recycle “comes into play.

One of the most pressing matters in resulting from the production and consumption of products is the ‘Wastage’. Our growing demand for ‘fast fashion’ has resulted in tonnes of discarded materials, and resources threatening environmental and social well-being on a global scale.

This Practice is a set of principles focused on waste prevention that encourages the redesign of resources so that all materials are reused. Zero wastage or minimal wastage encompasses more than eliminating waste through recycling and reuse, it focuses on restructuring production and distribution systems to reduce waste.

Aauraa Home Fashion has been a pioneer in finding ways to implement new solutions that could change the way one thinks about reducing wastage.Aauraa Home Fashion being an ardent promoter of sustainability recently has started an initiative called “Greening the Environment” where a wide range of trees were planted as a contribution to a better environment. The notion of reducing wastage was brought into action here. To help maintain the plantation, the waste water from the employee’s quarters goes through an RO treatment, making it fit for domestic use. This treated water is then re directed to the plantation field making this entire initiative a socially responsible commitment.

Aauraa Home Fashion follows the concept of “Cradle-to-Cradle”, taking responsibility for a product’s impact from the sourcing of the materials to its ultimate disposal. In an effort towards the development of this new practice, Aauraa Home Fashion now has adapted to organic alternatives in production and the packaging of their products. Taking into consideration the betterment of the environment, Aauraa Home Fashion is constantly making changes and tailoring towards an Eco-Friendly and Green living.

Aauraa Home Fashion, through years of implementing environment friendly and sustainable practices will continue to develop the mantra (ideology) of Reduce, Reuse and Recycle.

Stonewash Inventory

Owing to its timeless style and soft and delicate feel stone washed table and kitchen linen has a great deal of fans. From social media influencers to common folk, we’ve taken a liking for its enticements. First off, it is long lasting. Second, it is a sustainable choice that makes you home look serene and organic.

Organic Choices -The Trend

This trend of reconciling with an organic theme has been brought back this year as an attempt in search of calmness and a deeper connection to the nature. Aware of the fact that the environment is at a critical stage, this trend brings back the consideration of a reality that focuses more on the natural world.

Products at Aauraa Home Fashion copies the language of nature and mimics the nature’s resonance with finishes like ruffles, self-fringes

and raw edges. Our Stone Washed collection epitomises the contemporary trend by adding lace and pompom finishes giving it a modern touch.

At Aauraa Home Fashion, Stonewashed fabric is used to create an easy going, unfussy, aesthetic to the products. Stone washalso increases the fabric’s softness and flexibility makingthe product more handy and performable. It also gives a slightly faded, vintage look to the products.

Building a collection based on this theme is an attempt to tie the natural and the new. This primitive and pure range reflects the source of their existence. Natural imperfections are the new trend that shouldn’t be missed. Plus, organic Home décor is even kinder to the planet while being every bit as beautiful, durable and a year-round classic.

Decadence and Glam

Decadence and Glam

Let’s get on with the Bling! While the Holiday season was all about festive embellishments, glitter and all things sparkly, what happens after the lights and tinsel is down? Thanks to the spectacle of modern trends, sequins have conquered the trends this year again. A touch of shine gives movement and presence to the product.

What is more expedient about sequins is that it doesn’t have to be exclusive for occasions. They have become everywhere and every day.  These addictively tactile discs have become an ultimate tool for creating what is known as an “Elevated basic”.

The Sequins collection at Aauraa Home Fashion has been designed with a sole purpose of functionality. Our Sequinscollection can look extremely chic any time of the year when paired with modern colours and fabrics. A little bit of sequins can carter a bold look when paired with a subtle blush fabric. Or be paired with neutral colour fabric for a more sophisticated look.

Sequins are becoming a must- have this season. Whether the style is edgy or classic, sequins have a place in everyone’s linen collection.

Ikat Prints

Ikat Prints

Trends repeat themselves; there is an age old trend back on the radar. With warm season coming up, you can’t go wrong with a classic Ikat print.

Ikat Trend is one such treasured trenddoing the global rounds again. The word ‘Ikat’ comes from ‘Mengikat’. It means ‘to tie’ the loose threads, in order to specify the areas where the thread would be coloured. The outcome is a motif that is abstract in appearancefrom the slight bleeding of the dyes.

Ikat is particularly eye catching with stylized motifs and abstract geometric shapes. Ikat has an enthralling characteristic where light and vibrant colours can give an airy, summery, and naturally authentic impression while the dark hues can turn out to be calm, elegant and serene. Although it looks primitive,Ikat gives a sophisticated, yet classic feel.

What is gone cannot be replaced but Aauraa Home Fashion has re imagined this trend in an inspiring way. We interpret Ikat that has been a traditional trend with an opulent and magical edge. Our Ikat collection is elemental and reflects the origin of their endurance. Natural imperfections; raw and marled aspects are enriched in these warm summery hues.

In addition to that, our colourful Ikat patterns bring out the best combinations to be simple yet charming. Everyone likes a little bit of a free spirited vibe in their home – think Bohemian, Gypsy, or Tribal Chic

speaking of which we are reminded of a fabric that ties together all these words.

There’s something alluring about Ikat, a completely abstract style, contemporary prints and motifs but it’s one of those evergreen fabrics.

What Ikat is about is that it is as diverse as it comes. The best thing about “Ikat” is that it never goes out of trend because of its complexity. Admired for its beauty and creative scope, Ikat till date holds a strong dominance in the trends.

Tropical Jungle

Tropical Jungle

To think Green and to live green is the new norm that is being adapted widely among designers today. Subsuming a way to celebrate nature and a sustainable environment for the future is a necessity now.

Vibrant tropical print seems to be the featuring trend of the season because of the growing depletion of forest resources in our moribund planet. This Tropical trend that has been inspired from the green seems like a refreshing explosion of chaotic mix of leaves, forests, flora and fauna. Diverging out to exotic surroundings and being inspired from the tropical forests the prints gives a vibe of a mystical paradise.

The trend sports a vivid colour palette with exotic floral and luscious leaves. The colours wereextremely significant to this particular collection to convey how incredible the colours of birds and flowers are in nature.

The deep dark green colour adds a contrast when put together with flamboyant colours like the yellows and pinks. Assimilating birds like Toucans and Parrots along with jungle animals like Tigers are an enormous way to approach this trend. The pinks from the hibiscus and yellows of the birds are equally distributed across the design giving it a sense of depth and tie the whole print together

The collection features a complete lot ranging from tablecloths to napkins. Not to miss the embroidered kitchen towels and napkins that is exclusive in this collection.

Aauraa Home Fashion has always embraced a green, and eco-friendly approach and this tropical trend contemplates our soul maxim. In the pursuit of Corporate Social Responsibility our company aspires to promote more “Green” themed products and trends when given an opportunity to.
